What the-?? How did it DO that???

SAWJ pointed out this neat test which tells you what kind of blogger you are. Thing is, you just write down your url and click once and voila, you get the answer immediately. No questions, no rorschach blots.

This is what i got:

ISFP – The Artists
The gentle and compassionate type. They are especially attuned their inner values and what other people need. They are not friends of many words and tend to take the worries of the world on their shoulders. They tend to follow the path of least resistance and have to look out not to be taken advantage of.

They often prefer working quietly, behind the scene as a part of a team. They tend to value their friends and family above what they do for a living.

Wtf?! How did they pull out that answer? From a digital top hat? How did this website know i’m an art freak in 2 seconds flat?
People, please try this out and tell me your results. It’s creepy.

You would n’t believe what I got

    ISTP – The Mechanics
    [ISTP]
The independent and problem-solving type. They are especially attuned to the demands of the moment are masters of responding to challenges that arise spontaneously. They generally prefer to think things out for themselves and often avoid inter-personal conflicts.

The Mechanics enjoy working together with other independent and highly skilled people and often like seek fun and action both in their work and personal life. They enjoy adventure and risk such as in driving race cars or working as policemen and firefighters.

    Man this is so true.

Good GOD this thing is accurate! Or at least I want it to be πŸ˜›

    ESTP – The Doers

The active and play-ful type. They are especially attuned to people and things around them and often full of energy, talking, joking and engaging in physical out-door activities.

The Doers are happiest with action-filled work which craves their full attention and focus. They might be very impulsive and more keen on starting something new than following it through. They might have a problem with sitting still or remaining inactive for any period of time.

    ESFP – The Performers
    [ESFP]
The entertaining and friendly type. They are especially attuned to pleasure and beauty and like to fill their surroundings with soft fabrics, bright colors and sweet smells. They live in the present moment and donΒ΄t like to plan ahead – they are always in risk of exhausting themselves.

The enjoy work that makes them able to help other people in a concrete and visible way. They tend to avoid conflicts and rarely initiate confrontation – qualities that can make it hard for them in management positions.

  11. Hira S. says:

It’s not about the nice stuff Absar. I honestly don’t think what they wrote about artists is very positive. Path of least resistance= cowardice in sugar coated words;tend to take the worries of the world on their shoulders means ‘i am just one step away from a panic attack”. It’s just scary hadd tak true.

Khaer Starman, other than the fact that you’re an actual rockstar-on-the-verge-hence-performer, everything else just makes you seem like Kamiar Rokni.

  12. karachiwali says:

exactly…it ‘sounds’ good. waise some bits of it are actually true about me. i do care about people a bit too much

  13. Absar Shah says:

Oh so its about credibility? πŸ˜›

  14. Safiullah says:

Ok the performers sound very gay…

But hira is right about one thing…. It is ‘truely’ scary.

    Like for instance:
“They generally prefer to think things out for themselves and often avoid inter-personal conflicts.” short for a selfish jerk with non/anti-social tendencies.

“The Mechanics enjoy working together with other independent and highly skilled people and often like seek fun and action both in their work and personal life.” short for workaholics and introverts

  15. Hira S. says:

By the way, needed to ask about the anti-social thing. It seems antisocial means ppl out to deliberately destroy society (this definition has been provided by Wiki and absar), and not ppl who say “oh society can hang itself”

so…what words should one use to describe ppl who just say “society can go hang” and not ” I shall destroy society”? asocial, or non-social?

  16. Safiullah says:

Non social is the correct term but… Non social usually means people who don’t socialize but it does n’t specify whether they actually care about the society or not. I think asocial would describe that aspect.

But I m no English-daan, Wiki it if you are still unsatisfied.

  17. Hira S. says:

I hate wiki. It’s made ppl lazier

whoopsie daisy. Sorry to burst everyone’s bubble but the mighty typelyzer failed to peg me. My result is as follows:

    ISTP – The Mechanics
    [ISTP]
The independent and problem-solving type. They are especially attuned to the demands of the moment are masters of responding to challenges that arise spontaneously. They generally prefer to think things out for themselves and often avoid inter-personal conflicts.

The Mechanics enjoy working together with other independent and highly skilled people and often like seek fun and action both in their work and personal life. They enjoy adventure and risk such as in driving race cars or working as policemen and firefighters.

What bull! I have either managed, with my seriously well developed and versatile writing skills, to confuse whatever super duper computer program savant thingie they’ve got or things works like afridi and manages to get a few hits right every once in a while.
Either way, i agree with whoever said that since every ‘analysis’ has a balming calming effect to it people are willing to believe what it says whether or not its true, much like horoscopes… if they said stuff like you are one more post from going full retard so do yourself a favor and kill yourself now i doubt too many people would have been willing to post that up on their blogs.

  19. Hira S. says:

    I would! that’d just be fun πŸ˜€
